My Story
At eighteen, I moved to Cape Town with a month of Airbnb booked, R30,000 to my name and no safety net. There was no home to go to and no turning back. I took whatever work I could find, waiting tables, bartending, sales, while building business after business. Most failed. Those failures led to the first real wins.
I was signed professionally as a model and actor, landing campaigns, featured roles and commercial work. Around the same time, I maxed a credit card to keep NexCard alive for four months, until it turned profitable and began generating real revenue.
As my network grew, I became known for connecting people and building communities around Cape Town’s nightlife, working with many of the city’s leading venues to drive attendance, curate guest experiences and shape the atmosphere brands wanted to be known for. That evolved into creative direction: strategy, branding, photography, videography and content, built to help businesses grow. That became NexCreative.
Today I’m the Brand & Creative Director behind The List, shaping the brand from day one and leading its creative direction, marketing and growth, while continuing to build companies, invest in new ventures and create opportunities across industries.
